Throughout the decades many photo and arts students frequented this renowned pub around the corner from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Aka Ryerson.

After 81 years of supplying beer and a social environment for the community, the Imperial Pub and The Library will close forever on November 15, 2025. The Imperial first opened in 1944 during World War 2.

Experience the Library’s inviting environment with beer, books, comfortable couches to lounge around on and hear the jukebox with Jazz tunes from all the greats.
