CAPIC Vancouver Hands-On Assistants Workshop

A hands-on technical workshop for photography assistants, photographers and students looking to build practical experience on set.

Get familiar with professional lighting and production gear alongside established working assistants and photographers. Participants will work through setup and teardown exercises, gaining practical experience with the equipment and the pace of a working set.

Come prepared to work: black T-shirt, black jeans, sturdy shoes and gloves. The workshop takes place both indoors and outdoors, so dress in layers.

Participants who complete the workshop may also be added to Flashpoint’s assistant list.
