Join CAPIC Vancouver’s Hands-On Assistants Workshop 

Get your hands on a variety of gear under the guidance of established working assistants and photographers.

Attention all budding assistants! Ever wonder how you break through that invisible barrier: in order to get the job you need to show that you can do the job, but you can’t show that you can do the job without getting the job? We are here to help.Join us on Sunday, January 25th from 9:00am to 12:30pm at Flashpoint Rentals for a hands-on workshop.We will have established, working assistants and photographers guiding you through setting up and tearing down various gear. Come prepared to work, like you would be going on set (you know black t-shirt, black jeans, sturdy shoes, gloves), no standing around, did we mention this is hand-on, you will be setting up and tearing down the gear to get to know it better. Be prepared for working indoors and outside, so layer up. Once you complete the workshop you can be added to Flashpoint’s Assistant list.Don’t miss this valuable event to learn, connect, and take your assistant career to the next level. Space is limited to ensure all participants get maximum time with the gear.
