CAPIC Double Vision 2017
CAPIC Double Vision 2017 Call for Participants
Open to all professional photographers, illustrators, and image creators. Double
Vision is an annual exhibition that pairs image creators by random draw and
challenges them to create portraits of one another. The completed works are
then exhibited side by side.
All submitted works are to be judged by a panel of art professionals who will
determine first, second, and third place winners. In addition, entrants and invited
guests to our opening night celebration will cast ballots for their favourite pair of
works and decide on a popular vote winner. Prizes from our fantastic sponsors
will be presented to all winners
Double Vision 2017 will run from Thursday, May 18th to Sunday, May 28th,
2017, at the Papermill Art Gallery at Todmorden Mills Heritage Site. An
opening night event takes place Wednesday, May 17th, from 6:00 – 9:30pm.
Email your contact information and primary artistic discipline (photographer,
illustrator, etc), with the subject line “Double Vision 2017 Participation” to:
email@example.com. In order to be included in the pairing, please email
your confirmation of participation by midnight, FRIDAY, MARCH 24th, 2017.
