Ken Remark is a Toronto based photographer with a childlike enthusiasm for creating magical moments, most probably from being raised on Spielberg and Lucas. From inventing simple, spontaneous photo shoots of friends and families, to executing complicated, well thought-out studio productions, Ken is comfortable in his own shoes. And shoes are important.
With a decade of shooting film photography under his belt, Ken has an appreciation for patience and attention to detail. While studying digital imaging at Georgian College, Ken was awarded Student Photographer of Ontario by the Professional Photographers Of Canada and was published in PhotoEd magazine.
Most recently, Ken has become familiar with the pace and high standard of performance involved in commercial advertising while assisting established photographers with clients including Rogers, Hudson's Bay Company and CBC.
His creative approach has been influenced by all things geeky such as Batman and the Sandman, the Goonies and Back to the Future, Mario Kart and Final Fantasy, Death Note and Bleach, Alexandre Dumas and Hunter S Thompson, Elvis and the Rolling Stones.
